Things you’ll need:

  • Tea kettle
  • Water
  • Loose tea leaves
  • Teapot with lid
  • Tea strainer
  • Cup and saucer
  • Milk
  • Teaspoon
  • Sugar

Step 1 Boil the water

Put water to a boil at a medium high heat. Then pour the boiled water into a teapot. Move the water by shaking the teapot in order for the teapot to be heated for a few seconds. This will help for the steeping process.

Step 2 Put in the leaves

Use a teaspoon of loose tea leaves per cup into the teapot. Add some more water up until the leaves were covered. Cover the teapot with its lid and let it steep for 3-5 minutes, then stir.

Add the milk on your teacup. Strain the leaves on the teacup using a strainer so it would catch the loosed tea leaves, the pour in some tea. Put in some sugar depending on your personal choice of how much amount of sugar. Or you can use condense milk. Serve and enjoy a cup of English breakfast tea.
